Paris Hilton to MotoGP

Well 125's anyway,

Quote:
Renowned socialite Paris Hilton is set to become a familiar figure in the MotoGP paddock in 2011 after it was revealed she will put her name to a 125GP team next season.

The heiress to the Hilton hotel chain fortune - and notorious tabloid attraction - is behind the SuperMart© VIP by Paris Hilton team, which will launch this weekend with riders Sergio Gadea and Maverick Vinales.

A partnership with BQR, the team will be spearheaded by Rossano Brazzi on the technical side, while Xavi Montero and Ricard Garriga are also involved in the project.

Gadea steps back to the 125 series after a season spent at Moto2 level, the Spaniard scoring a single podium at Mugello on the way to 17th position in the standings, while Vinales steps up from the Spanish national championship.

Fantastic news imo,
she'll take GP racing to a whole new audience which can only be good for the sport.

The colours
Quote:
Not that Paris Hilton should be worried that her shock foray into Grand Prix racing would go unnoticed, the American socialite and tabloid media darling has made sure of maximum exposure after this image of her teamís livery leaked today.

Hilton will make a dramatic career change in 2011 as backer of a new 125GP effort that will feature this striking pink, blue and white paintscheme.

Hilton is due to attend the launch of the SuperMartxe VIP by Paris Hilton team in Madrid tomorrow (Saturday).

NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now all the rage will be owning your own team.... I'll have to sell my coach purse, Dooney and Burke wallet, Gucci sunglasses, Stupid chiwawa dog, and his custom built $200,00 two story dog house just to be part of the new in crowd. Can we just let her race the bike? I promise turn one at TWS (Texas World Speedway) will end the entire fad in the matter of 5 mins.

There we go Grinchy found it.

There is a pic circulating where she is in the latex and the team riders are really focused at her upper fairing.

Grinchy, maybe you can find that one as well.

Love it.

I'm guessing Jay Leno is next right.
