I use a RF1000. Before I bought it, I went to CG and tried the 1100, the x11, and the x12. The x series helmets dont fit my head for . The 1100 doesnt fit nearly as well as the 1000. The 1000 fits like a glove.

I have an X-11 and I like the ventilation and feels fairly light compared to old Z1R. Don't like the whistling I hear from wind. Have not been able to quiet it down by messing with vents either. I like the look and feel but not big on whistling. Will probably go with another brand on next one.

X12

I bought my X12 a couple months back and to answer your questions....

1. The X12 is VERY aero dynamic. It really cuts thru the wind when hitting triple digits.

2. DOT certified and removable liner.

3. Multiple vents make it pretty cool in the summer time.

The only down side is that its quite noisey even at low speeds.
