Japanese choppers

Some of these are way out there on the extreme range of odd, but most are pretty cool, its like they are reproducing our 70's . Dig the styling , dig the invaders at speed, there is so much I like about this video, I could go on and on.
ANNNND I do realize most on this site wont "get it", but I thought I would share anyways in hopes of some internal enlightenment that is other forms of 2 wheeling besides a gixxer etc

I tried to get it to imbed ...

Those things look a little extreme, and not too safe, not sure I could ever trust one of those, but I do like the style of a couple of them

Kind of diggin the old school raked out front ends, and the exagerated ram horn bars. The peanut tank, and coffin style tanks.

Some neat , but has to be sketchy as with that front wheel way the out there.

After spending a lot of time in Japan, nothing surprises me anymore about them.

They do this to everything.

Pretty cool and they look more ergonomic than a standard chopper too.

I liked them. I wish I could ride something like that at least once.

A cruiser is a different animal than a sportbike. I think a chopper would be a different experience than either of those.

True enthusiasts should be able to appreciate the heritage. They should appreciate all styles of motorcycling, whether they personally would rock it or not.

I appreciate the design and the fab work that goes into that, but just because I think it looks ridiculous in the worst way doesnt make me less of a motorcycling enthusiast.

Just because I love cars doesn't mean I have to think people with 40+ inch rims and their favorite candy airbrushed on the side of their cars are cool. Because they are not... in any way.

You don't have to think they are cool. But appreciation of the work that went into it is something a true carnut regarless of what their personal preferences are is where its at IMO, which is what you said.

I can go to fun runs, midnight track events, SCCA events, BMW CCA, PCA, Miata, Fun Ford, Lowrider, track days, motorcycle shows, whatever events and have a good time looking at what other people do and the different scenes. If it has an internal combustion engine then I am interested.

I am more of a dialectical thinker than most, so some may not understand.

I was with you until you said, "dialectical" then you lost me...
