those pictures make you appreciate just how many rpm's these engines are capable of....

1st contact bent the valve stem, and then 3000 more contacts in 10 seconds or less.

thanks for the pics, very impressive.

What's the plans for the rebuild?

That was my FXR.

First thing to replace is the transmission with a 6 speed.

Missed 3rd at WFO and blew up. Not the first time to miss 3rd.

I lunched one of my kz1428 engines, missed shift at wot and threw a bunch of out the cases, thats gonna cost about 12k

The valve let go and rattled around in the cylinder for a bit.
