2011 CVO Street Glide

I'm having some strong urges about buying another bike after selling the 1000rr about a year ago. Not feeling too addicted to a track bike at the moment, but to something I can just jump onto and disappear for the weekend and ride wherever.

I've been looking at the street glides for a few years now, but I am now starting to look much closer into the newer 2010 and 2011 models. Anyone on here have a 2009 or newer Street Glide, or by any chance know someone with a CVO?

I'm thinking my garage needs something in it other than an old basket case 1960 Mustang Thoroughbred waiting on a restoration.

I'm not familiar with the Harley buying ordeals, but I am aware they can sometimes be hard to find what you want.

Anyone have a clue if there would still be a decent selection on 2011 bikes in March? I'm going to see if my urge is still there and if so maybe make that my birthday present.

Trying to get an ex girlfriend to give me some feedback from her Harley GM Dad, but things didn't end all that smoothly so I have doubts she'll do anything to help me out with a favor. I'd go by dealers on my own but I'm not in the country to be able to do so right now.

I have an 09 SG. I love it. All depends on what type of riding you want to do. I could not see myself with just one bike. Harley is great for long rides, cruising, and comfy. I still need the sport bike to handle the time for when I do not want to cruise. My buddy had a M109r that he left at my house and I would ride that alot. If I did not have a sport bike, and could only choose one bike it would be the M109r. Kind of big but has plenty of power and handles pretty good for the size.

Thanks for the feedback. Spirited riding I will keep to the tracks if I decide to get back into that. I'm just looking for something to come home one friday night. Get on and start riding a direction away from Houston. Then Sunday morning turn around and ride back.

I did a 500 mile ride in 24 hours on the CBR several years back and despite trying to take the most fun roads, it was not enjoyable. I only enjoy the sport bikes now on the track but I think before I get another track bike I'd get a car for track days instead.

my bil has a new street glide and it has a ton of work to it. Like the one in the pic. very nice bike, super comfy, and sounds killer with the 110 kit in it. should stop by sometime to check it out...

Street glide or road glide good bikes but I luke them raked out with a 23" and a trask turbo with a 110 kit.
