You're better off having someone like graves build you a superbike spec 600 motor. Throwing the R1 motor into the bike will upset the handling you seem to love so much.......assuming it fits (which it doesn't seem to).

Why don't you just do a bolt on flux capacitor? That will give you all the hp you are looking for and you'll keep the handling intact.

I've seen it attempted once on the R1 forum. Different years frame and engine. It takes major modification to the frame and the exhaust. I can tell you for certain the bolts patterns do not match up, and you will have to do some cutting to squeeze the lump in. You might get better results on the R1 forum, but beware, if you think you got flamed (a little) here; they can be a tough crowd.
