R1 engine conversion into a yzf600r???

Hey guys i got an 02 yzf600r an i have been thinking about doing an engine conversion from a 97-99 R1. Don't really know if its possible and i haven't really researched it much. Just thought i would throw it out here to see if anyone has any insight on it. My yzf600r is carburated so i would have to do an R1 engine that is carburated also obviously but i want to know if the mounts are the same? And what it will take to do it. I'm an experienced rider and Ive had some 1000's but always loved the yzf600r bike, it rides beautiful and corners like no other bike Ive ever been on. But i am still looking for more power. I was going to go with a 75hp-100hp nitrous kit for it but thought i would rather just do a conversion. let me know if yall have any suggestions or any kind of useful info! Thanks...

An another thing is that if you don't have any "USEFUL" info on what the thread is talking about please keep your negativity/immaturity to yourself. Thanks!

Bingo.
3 min. on Google turns up . What does come up says is so far from practical it's silly. You can put a jet engine in it with the time and money. There is a point where an R1 makes way more sense.
The search says the bolt patterns and frame width are wrong for the swap.

For many reasons. 1 being that i love everything about the yzf600r from the body style to the seating, handling and so on and so forth, (dont like how any of the R1 sit or feel) 2 being that i want more power without blowing the out of my engine with nos like i have done in the past while racing and 3 being i would just like to do it to see if it can be done. So ya just a little bored and that i dont want to just buy another bike. Ive built my bike to perfection for me so alot of work and attachment there.

that gay! lol well ... I guess im going to just tweak with my engine and carbs then. Maybe just build the head with aftermarket cams, valves, valve springs/retainers an port an polish and do a stage 3 or 4 jet kit...
The swap would have been fun tho! Thanks bluewave18 for the info!

A 50 shot would bring it to around 225. That sounds like fun. Does that seem like too much?

Naw you will be safe with a 50 shot even on a stock engine. You just cant over do it. Just dont shoot it every time you ride you know what i mean. But when will you ever want to/need to shoot nitrous on a busa?

I think it will suffer from valve spring pressure issues. The 08's have weak springs and can spit shims. I think it will need heavy springs at least.

Ya man your obviously doing it big on the busa at the track, you might as well build the heads like i said i was probably going to do to my bike. Then you can shoot a 50 shot all day and if you don't want nos anymore you will be already setup to turbo it!
