thanks for the props Joe - I'll have a smile on my face but you know I'll be cryin' inside because....racers race and spectating kinda blows. Oh well.....hopefully I can lend a hand to someone that needs it.

Looks like it will be a cool but sunny day - just about perfect once you get warmed up.

See everyone at the track!

Thanks Linz... I'd love to race in something like this, but I think I ready somewhere 2 strokes are prohibited and knobby tires are no bueno....at the very least, spectating would be cool.

You're right, Mike. Race dates AFTER this weekend are listed as:

Jan 23rd
Feb 20th
March 20th
April 24th
May 15th.

All races still on Sunday at Noon. They make have to make some changes later depending on the Waco race dates. They say to also put Feb 5th down on your calender as they have an announcement this weekend that will prove to be a blast.

Danny,

Call Max if you need to. Your 250 is legal, I think, with DP tires on it.

Here's the Mad Dawg and Speed Sprints videos from last time. This is grass roots racing, folks. Fun stuff. Low-key, laid back.

about an hour and a half from knowing whether I need to suck it up or get used to my couch.....

that's a teaser. I have an idea of what is going to happen.

Think Indoor.

Indoor, eh? Sounds cool. JP remembers, I'm sure, when we used to go to that cow arena over off Almeda Road on the south side not far from Hobby Airport and do mini motocross. It was a hard pack death trap. I crashed a lot, but would get a podium now and again. Haner would win now and again when he'd show up.

Real indoor stuff would be cool. Check out Allsports in VA on YouTube...

Hey Linz, you talkin' about Johnny Nash indoor arena?

That place was way cool but a meatgrinder at the same time. It was all cool when it was just practice days, then they starting making it race days and things got way out of control. The times I trophied there they handed out BMX trophies! What a priceless way to round out the trophy case.

One night some cat showed up with his XR 70 burning Alcohol. It was insane.

And what about that pack of fiddy riders, anyone remember them? I think it was about 12-15 guys with mad skillz yo.

Good Times for sure (well, for those that didn't get wadded up - there was a lot of that, too)

See ya'll Sunday!!!

Yep, Johnny Nash. Or, as the locals called it, Johnny Rash. You get wicked out of shape and you're eating concrete and a steel fence. I do remember the 50 guys. They were scary to watch 'cause you knew they weren't gonna clear the double, but they did and made the rest of it look easy, too.
