this is great. like someone else mentioned GET PIP (personal injurie protection) this helps in cases like this. Does not take care of everything but does help.

You need to file a police report yourself dood. You have 24 hours to do it. If you're laid up, call the station and see what can be done. If you plan on civil, you better get your injuries checked out and start therapy. Without all that imho, you have nothing. Good luck and sorry to hear.
