Seriously? a 500 2 stroke would be mental. Just think about the old 500cc 2 stroke GP bikes. They were nightmares to tame.

That service honda 500 looks insane! I had no idea they made those. Those bikes are scary powerful as it is.

A well tuned 250 two stroke would be awesome for a tard. Even then, a 4 stroke would still have the advantage IMO. I would rock a two stroke tard any day.

4 stroke would have the advantage due to the powerband. Get a 2 stroke off the pipe, and then back on, and you're begging for a highside.

I'd say a 2 stroke rider would be more prone to highside because of the powerband but that would be all in the throttle control too. , alot of 4 strokes now adays have powerbands that feel VERY similar to a 2 stroke in that aspect just more torque in the low end. More so in the 250 four strokes compared to the 450 4 strokes but still that's just throttle control.

I also wouldnt mind doing a newer Triumph Bonneville into a cafe racer.

triumph bonneville c 2 460x0w

I always thought the whole cafe racer look was pretty badass, and this way I can get the old looks without dealing with a 30 year old bike and 30 year old issues.

I should get a cruiser or chopper of some sort (like the Big Bear Sled Chopper), but suspect I will burn through a few more Gixxer 1000s before that happens.

my next bike will probably be a honda cb something, hawk 650, or cm 400.
if my vfr ever kicks the bucket, i want to get a newer vfr. not the 1200. that looks stupid, but one of the 800's. racer x's old vfr was pretty cool looking, something like that.

I grew up on two-stroke dirtbikes. I wouldn't want one for the street. The powerband does not lend itself well to traffic or stoplights. A CR250 tard would be a blast on a track, but not the street. For the street, It would have to be a 4-stroke.
