I know for a FACT that Acura Integra is one of the top 3 most stolen. One list I found they did by year, and Integra showed up like 5 times.

Something seems to be off...

most of those cars that you mention have onstar or lojack type techology straight from the factory, my uncle has a BMW 530i and its limited to within 250 miles of his own zip code.

i know coz once when he was outta town me and my friend decided to go to dallas in his car - bad move, the engine just shut off by itself and never started, a few minutes later i get call from my uncle laughing at me asking if i'm in his car...:eh:

so all the cars you mention are next to above the 05 bmw 530i, plz check your list again..

as far as i remember it was full of cars ranging from camrys to integras..

From that link....

"Luxury cars do not have more frequent theft claims than their cheaper counterparts. However, because of their higher value, luxury cars tend to have higher average loss payments per claim," said Kim Hazelbaker of the Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI)."

This ForbesAutos.com Top 10 list of the most commonly stolen luxury vehicles in the U.S. was compiled based on figures released by the HLDI in fall 2005. These figures cover 2002-2004 model year vehicles with an original MSRP of $30,000 or more."

So first of all, no car under 30k is allowed to be on that list. Second, its basing off value of car(average loss payments per claim), not number of cars stolen. This means even though more civics get stolen than H2s, it takes like 5 civics to equal the cost of one H2.

You can get more chicks with ice cream than you can with 20's. I'm gonna start a trend, pretty soon you'll see everyone in the nightclub with a double-dip... "Hey baby, wanna trade licks?"

I would say any Dodge is the most common stolen vehicle in Houston. All you need is a screwdriver and pliers to steal most of them. The door handles and steering column covers are all plastic and easy to break.
