Cars and Coffee 12/4 8:00

from an email i just recieved. I'll be there about 7:30

All,
After the challenges of November (and I thank all of you who have been incredibly supportive through this transition), Coffee & Cars has a new venue, the Marq*E Entertainment Center Houston (Edwards Center). This will be a bigger space with plenty of parking, as well as room in the parking garage for onlookers.

We're very lucky to have at our initial event here, the unveiling of John Hennessey's newest creation, the Venom GT. John's been nice enough to give the Coffee & Cars crowd the first Houston peek at it, by moving his originally scheduled location to the Marq*E Edwards Center where we can all get a good look. The drape comes off at 8!

As usual, the event will last from 8 - 10 am. We will be located on the west side of the center. Parking will be on a first-come-first-served basis, so please come early. This is not a commercial venue, so no promotional products or services are allowed. No, don't bring tents. Park respectfully so everyone has a space. Finally, we don't care how you travel to get there, and we don't care how you travel to get home, but we do care how you enter and exit the site. The biggest challenge to getting this location has been the lingering YouTube videos of people burning out leaving the Uptown Center. The property management has full rights to refuse us if our event becomes the center of attention for any sort of bad behavior. That includes burnouts. Please don't wreck our chances of making this a new permanent home for our monthly get together.

My email list is limited, and I'd love to have more names of people on the list for monthly reminders (though I'm conscious of not producing spam). If you know of someone who would like to get the reminders, please send me their email address and I'll add it. Likewise, and more importantly, if you know of someone who either has attended previously, or has wanted to, please forward this email to them. We'd like to start the first Coffee & Cars Houston at our new location with a big turnout.

See you Saturday!

that's the point of it being there, nothing really open so they aren't losing parking for potential customers

Is this a car show? Sorry but new member here not sure what coffee and cars is actually about. Its close to me but not sure what to expect, could you please fill me in? Not sure if I should drive a classic car outthere or a custom street tracker.

yes it's a car show. there will be some very high end cars, some with a value of over $600,000. I'll be going up there with 4 other dodge vipers from the southeast side. If you want to see some very very nice cars, this is the show to go to

Ok, I guess I didnt ask properly......Is this only for us to see cars there or is it something where we can bring our own cars for display? Not sure if your trying to get just spectators or participants.
