Just verify from the manufacturer as to what type of clearcoat they have on them, so you get a compatible type of paint.

it can be very "holey",
lot of dibbing required or high build primer which I don't like,
depends on the quality of the CF

Now if only Stona was still with the Duc but they send us some dood named flossi, what a noob lol

It is like any other material, now is the CF is damaged then paiting is a good option. If only the clear has to be repaired is not too bad just make sure the clear has some flex on it.

Alberto can do a great job for you, I have done several sets of cf Ducati paint jobs. Flex additive goes in the clearcoat. Most bases don't need it if it's a quality paint. Tony at Houseofpaint Designs also can do work on cf.
Don't cheap out on the paint, no matter how tempting a low cost is. Spend the money on the high end paint and hogh solids clears. Your painter will know the difference. I've got a few pics of some of the cf Ducati jobs I've done, lmk if you want to see them. Doing Ducati Red and some cf "windows" i is KILLER.
