50mph on to a dirt road is no joke. I was really impressed with his ability to keep it up and get it stopped. Definitely an impressive run.

Well the jet car didn't even hit the burner until 3/4 mile marker so he wasn't even leaning on it til 1/2 track.

Most of the turbo bikes don't even go wot until 3rd....they just spin and build heat in the motor/plenum if they do blow the tires off 1st/2nd. That is why they appear so slow in the beginning....after the 1/4 mile marker, starts happening quick....

I know I didn't get wot til 3rd and I was right before the 1/4 marker.... I wish I would have hit it hard in 2nd and let it eat....I probably would have gone a little faster but....I was out of gear in 6th anyway.

I am jonesing to do it again though....maybe march 2011 if I get the tranny done...

I want to go to the mile and check it out. If you go I can be on your pit crew. I can check your tire pressure and drink beer!

I'm most impressed that these speeds are accomplished in 1 mile. It is one thing to go that fast. It's another to do it in one mile while fighting traction issues the entire way down.

At 200mph he was still accelerating at .75Gs. Amazing...
