would have been worse if i didn't have my gear. Head hit the ground twice (same side), knee pads took impact and were sanded down by concrete, and jacket was worn down on left side, Boot on right side had some rash where my ankle bone was. surprisingly no holes, no wear, no melting on the gloves but strings did come apart on the fingers. VERY PLEASED with the gear i bought!

Dude, that is the same thing I did when I wrecked on my old bike, as I was tumbleling, I kept an eye on where my bike was going and just thinking "my baby! please stop rolling!". I knew since I was concious and not hurting, I would be alright.

Glad you're ok man, first time down, well, it happens...Important thing now is to not let it get to you, still trust yourself and your bike... Now time to work on getting back on it

How could you stare at your bike? I personally wouldnt give a about my bike.. I am more worried about myself than a piece of machinery.

So if you walk away from this with anything, it is that even if you totaled out the bike.... they can still be rebuild to a certain extent.

On the other hand, it takes skill and luck and a ton of money to rebuild a person.

I feel the same way as fredo, every wreck I've been in. I immediately hop to my feet (if possible) and rush to my bike.

Glad you're ok man! My biggest fear isn't so much the fall as it is the cars behind me, take today and enjoy the weather, relax and be glad it wasn't worse

I have the same helmet and you can have it if you want. I got a new one this year. Your head can't be that big.

Good for you wearing your gear - saved your knees for sure.

Yeah, very happy with the knee pads, i think Jerzey is convinced to always wear his knee pads and will now buy boots.

You are welcome. And you can pick it up anytime at the house or you can wait forever to see me out in public and I'll actually give it to you!

I'll keep my mouth shut about your size, I promise.

Glad you're OK! If ya don't have one, find a friend with a hottub; it makes crash aches a lil more tolerable.

Freddo glad you are OK. That bike is an easy fixer, a bit tougher to put you back together if damaged.

If you need help, let me know. If it were a later model GSXR, I would have everything you need.

Glad to hear you are ok and were wearing gear. Knees would have been ugly w/o those kneepads.

Get well soon (you and the bike)
