Ducati was running Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa SP and the Ferrari had these:*Michelin Pilot Sport F1

I was surprised as well...usually these videos end with the bike getting smoked in the turns... 4 wheels.

I'm amazed. 11 second quarter is fast, especially from a car made to handle. That car is absolutely bad !

one thing i was wondering though after reading the article, it said the ducati due to his line around the track, travelled 30 feet less. why the difference in the race lines? i thought a car and bike lines would be very similar yet in one corner they stated they were way off

It's the same line but because the bike is narrower it sort of makes a racing line within the car's racing line. Does that make sense. Just imagine if the track was only just wide enough for the car to fit on it would only have one line to take but the bike could make a racing line out of that 5 foot wide strip of track because it is only 20" wide and not 5' wide. Or so I've been told.
