Picking up my bike tomorrow, few questions

Will be getting my bike tomorrow, 07 r6. Already looked the bike over once and it appears very clean, trust the seller as well.

I will have a shop look it over, but was wondering if there are any suggestions from yall that I could take in order to ensure I'm making a good purchase.

1, I know to 2x check the title and make sure it's Kosher...
2, Ran the VIN....no issues there

Anything else?

Really appreciate the help ahead of time....look forward to riding and meeting fellow MM'ers.

Letting a trusted mechanic look it over is good.
Take it slow at first riding even if you have ridden before, get to know the bike & how it handles.
Congrats & welcome to the world of motorcycles !

Make sure the title is in his name. 90% of people get the bike and never transfer it because the don't want to pay sales tax. So it makes it a pain in the to get it transferred.

Good choice. Have fun and be safe. Nevermind snide remarks. Some people think everyone should start out on a Honda Ruckus and wear full race leathers.

a modern 600 isn't a good learner bike. this is common knowledge, people often buy them with their ego. like a literbike, which I also bought with my now-dwindling ego.

Bike pickup moved to Friday, but am still excited. Work schedule makes it difficult to do things when I want. Will have the bike looked over by an inspector at a dealership, just to put my mind at ease. You can only do so much.

It's my first bike in the last 15 years, and while I do appreciate the concern, I'm pretty sure I can handle it just fine. I'm not trying to fly down the street and act a fool, just like going back and forth to work and a little riding on the weekend.

I'm also not worried about crashing, I'll just always wear my gear and do what I can to be safe...can't control other peoples actions only my own.

As for life, you can't go tip toe-ing through it...you only get one chance to enjoy it.
