Rider(s) Down!?

Just saw a quick clip about a cruiser going down in the woodlands, or kingwood. Said it happened around 6pm. A senior(65+) turned left in front of bike. Rider and passenger did not make it. Fox news...

RIP to the fallen riders...

My dad and i went for a few rides around town this weekend, and EVERY single time we went out, someone pulled out in front of us, or cut us off, or something.

i guess i have just gotten used to it by not having a car for almost 2 years, but seeing someone pull out in front of my dad gets my mother blood boiling.

Miles will never distance
The depth of respect
Between Us Brothers
Of the Mistress wind
As you close your eyes
Smile my friend
Think of the many miles
Still left to ride
Hold onto memories
Never give up
Upon life
For as long as I breathe
You are a part of me
As long as I ride
You shall ride with me
And when I leave here
To join you there
Others will ride for us
Onward Forever Forward
Into the wind

I know I might catch for this, but that's nature weeding out the stupid. Was it sensless because the old lady didnt see them? Yes. She shouldve looked a lil more and this tragedy would of been avoided. But, and this is a big but, the riders shouldve been wearing gear. This is why they go through extensive testing with our helmets and jackets and gloves. These small things actually do save lives. But when negated, can do nothing for us as riders. Yes, this is sad. RIP to the fallen riders. My prayers go out to their families. But if only someone had warned them of the consequences without the proper gear, they would probably be alive today...

Thank you for telling us something we already know

Yes, you are correct, but at least just show some respect...I'm pretty sure anyone and everyone is aware of gear and what it does. This threads to me are more of a moment of silence and prayer(if you pray) for those unfortunate souls and their families that have lost loved ones. my .02

R.I.P to the fallen rider and riders, regardles of what they were wearing when the went down.
