Like Leo said, give us some more info, If its a gm truck, have someone turn key ON and listen for the fuel pump near tank, should hum for about 2 seconds, when key on and not cranking and then should start humming when u crank, if not try smacking on the bottom of tank with open palm while someone cranks, may fire right up, gl

Check to see if U have spark, pull a plugwire off and lay it up against something metal, if U dont have spark pull the dist cap and check the rotor for very small burn spot, if U do have spark put wire back on and spray some kinda start fluid / carb cleaner in air intake and see if it tries to start and let us know what u find out

Pour a little gas in the intake and put the air cleaner back on in case it back fires. Then crank it and if it fires for a short time and then stops that means you are not getting fuel up there.

either will work, I usually use some sorta spray, usually carb or tbi cleaner cause its usually sitting around and is more controllable, can spray a little in vac hose or in throttle bore, to pour gas is a little more dangerous, ur just trying to see if it will start with a outside fuel source, determining some type of fuel delivery problem
