Bad weather to ride in

This is prolly pretty obvious, but riding this morning isn't ideal. Rode the bike to work last night cause I still haven't found a great place to chain it up when I take my truck. On the way home, riding on slick concrete (Hwy 225), the wind gusts were blowing me all over the rode. I'm really glad I'm running high end Pirellis cause I'm pretty sure I would have lost traction on my old tires.

I'm seating at home just thinking if I have to take the bike or should I wait for the kids to get up, take the truck and go in late to work?

Its cold on top of that.

I'd call work and take the truck but that's just my opinion. You can also plan on being semi soaked at work for a while if you take the bike. And it's definitely cold out there; not sure when it is supposed to be better weather either.

I rode the bike to work this morning and it was cold. I will drive the car tomorrow cause I'm afraid of ice on the roads and riding on ice ain't fun.

do a track day in the rain, and you'll be surprised at how much traction your bike really has.
obviously, pavement types and temp can effect grip, but it's higher than you'd think. I rode yesterday and had no issues, 100 miles. when I was a popo back in the day, there where times when all I had was a bike, rode in the rain and cold and sometimes ice. it steeled my nerve. 2 years of that.

THIS! (again) a lot of the bike riders puss out on inclimate weather riding. the only way to be a better rider, is to get out in the . Cause one day, you will be stuck on the road, and the weather will turn. rain/snow/ice..and little "dry rider" is going to wreck because they lack the experience.
