Question **Help** Wiring Speakers in another room

I need some help figuring out how to wire some speakers. Heres the deal, the source will be coming from the computer and we want to wire a couple of speakers in the game room across the house. I was thinking of using a a adapter to switch 3.5mm plug into RCA female then run a long RCA cable in the attic between rooms and then in the game room use an adapter that uses female RCA to female 3.5mm and hook up the speakers that way. That might be ghetto as but I need some help.

The budget is $100. I already looked at wireless speakers and they all look cheesy unless you want to spend $200+. I was already wanting to use our computer speakers that we have now in the game room and spend the $100 on cabling and adpaters. But if anybody has any better ideas for buying speakers, cabling, and adapters that might make this project a bit easier then please give some input. Thanks for any info you might have!! :icon_smil

whats gona power the speakers?? your idea would work if the speakers were powered by plugging into the wall. otherwise you'll need an extra amp to take that rca signal and amp it out to speaker level.
