so let's talk about the thwarted terrorist attack

it's all over CNN...i watched about 30 minutes of coverage when i was wating for my car to get fixed this morning.

supposedly there was liquid explosives that were planned to be carried onto planes leaving the UK heading for the US. it's possible that US flights would've been involved as well. if you consider most of these planes hold roughly 300 people and there could be as many as 8-10 planes inbetween UK-US at certain points in the day, if they were all detonated over the atlantic, it could've easily been a mass murder with as many people killed as 9/11.

pretty scary to wake up to.

This is an example of being a part of the war on terror. Whethor or not you support it, you are a part of it. A lot of lives were saved today, but the war goes on.....

Well I saw it on the news today at lunch, and I'm kinda worried since I'm in Yemen right now and I fly home this coming thurs for an arrival at IAH on Friday at 1:30!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO. I'm kinda concerned, but I fly from Riyan here in Yemen to Abu Dhabi, and fly out of Dubai into Frankfurt, Germany. Frankfurt I catch a direct flight into Houston, and the security in the Frankfurt airport is pretty good I must say. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope I make it home without any problems. What was considered carry on when I came into work the usual Laptop, key fobs, eye drops (for desert use, it's dry out here), are no longer allowed. So we'll see how things get and I'll let you guys know what's up for you people going on Intl flights into Europe.

I wonder what his orders were for that day:

"Take this gun and stand over there all day .... and try not to look stupid"

"Doh!"
