MSR-H surgery

Buck, i just got off the updated site which looks good. I was watching the slide show, and it appears that the track may have been repaired since the BBQ day. Has the track been repaved in a few spots or are those pics older? Sure looks smooth thru T4,T5, and also in the keyhole.

+1

The concrete doesn't bother me. Is that what they used to patch the keyhole?

^^I agree. T4 ,5 slows me down because I don't like the track condition.
Keyhole doesn't bother me because like Carbon said, I ride just inside the concrete now.
And T16,17 doesn't bother me at all.

Now I remember ... there's a crack or something in the pavement on T4,T5 and a bump in T6 (that happen's to be right where I want to shift to 3rd). My handlebars get shakey right around there.

Still not a confidence booster being laid over, open throttle, and shifting all at once. We'll see how it goes on Saturday.

Turn 16 and 17 were great last time I was out a week and a half ago. Got back down into the :41's again, so it is getting better all the time. The fast line in the keyhole is UNDER the concrete for sure. Try to clip the left edge of that patch as you tip in to full lean and make sure you finish that turn completely to set up for the launch........
