Excellent point and I agree with you 100%. For the most part, I'm cool headed. But, I will just have to remember to take control of the situation and just ride off and not let the situation control me only to face the consequences.

I used to think like this, "If you can't control your emotions but instead you let your emotions control you. Then, who's in control?". I need to go back to that frame of mind.

just this morning on the ride to work some A-hole tried to run over me on BW 8.

I soooo badly wanted to follow him to work and kick the sheet of out him BUT, I calmed down and let him go to defuse the situation.

I hate that. To try and kill me while I'm in my car is one thing, but to try and kill me while I'm even more vulnerable....

You did the right thing buddy. Cheer up, Happy Thanksgiving!

just remember this: there's 3 kinds of people in this world: azzholes, & idiots.

sometimes road rage is just gonna happen, no matter what one drives or rides. I betcha that is just as likely to do something stupid next time he sees someone on a bike. Some folks just cain't be fixed. I got chased once by a truck once, I just outran tha basterd. It's easy to want to play hard-core bada$$ but this almost never fixes things.

Sharing the road with cagers makes me feel like a cheetah running in a stampede of wooly mammoths. Sure I can zip through the herd but one false move and I'm the one to get trampled and gored.

I still swear one of these day's I'm gonna end up banging off someone's side mirror and haulin off.
