Almost got hit and Lost it.

I know this was irresponsible, but I just lost it.

Well, I was on my way home on the bike after going out for a quick lunch and a guy ran a stop sign and almost T-boned me on the bike. So I hollered “WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING” and rode off. The next thing I noticed was him tailgating me. He might as well had his bumper on my back tire. So I pulled over and he stopped the car in the middle of the street talking noise. So I got off the bike and asked him what was up and he kept talking noise. I told him I didn’t appreciate him almost hitting me and riding my tail. I went to his car and said if he really felt that way to get out the car. He kept talking so I got in his face. Oh, but then he put his finger on the bridge of my nose. I yanked open his door open and pulled him out his car and jacked him up against it so he couldn’t move, kind of like the cops. I asked him “Now What”. We held up traffic for a good 6 minutes. After letting him go, he called the police. Luckily, I was in front of my friends mom's house and her boyfriend witness what happened. And, the cops in the area know me. , 4 of them ride with us and 3 belong to Majic Wheels, my brother in law’s motorcycle club. Needless to say, I don’t think he’ll put his finger in anyone’s face again.

For the most part, I try to be cool headed especially these day because you just never know. Yesterday, I just snapped.

I wanted to, but I didn't want to make a bad situation worse. But yeah you're absolutely right, he won't mess with us again. Some of us may have disagreements and name call from time to time name call on this board but deep down, if any of us see somebody in a car jump at a fellow rider, we defiinitely will have that rider's back and that's what I've grown to appreciate.

just sayin', a motorcycle club thats named "majic wheels" kinda implies a bunch of leather and chrome stud wearing dudes, big bushy moustaches and bikes with spinning wheels encrusted with plastic jewels and a lot of pink in the paint.

not that theres anything wrong with that, just sayin'

better be careful - next time that guy may be packing and when you grab him you have just given him cause to fear for his life and bust a cap in your azz.....

Otherwise, glad you set him straight.

Be sure to ALWAYS get a license plate number and as complete a description as possible of vehicle and driver.

I'm sorry, what? You're talking to a guy IN A CAR, while you're either on bike or on foot. Anybody with half a braincell would realize they metaphorically brough a knife to a gun fight.

I'm sorry that you're so afraid of consequences that you can't stand up for yourself when your confronted by a potential threat.

Wow. Now I understand why people want to restrict gun ownership.

So turning a potential threat into a potential shooting is the appropriate response?

The safest and smartest thing to do is remove yourself from the situation. I'm glad the OP is okay, but this could have ended very badly for him. Yanking a guy out of his car in Texas is just not a very smart idea unless you just want to be shot for it.

+1 to that.

Some people are just waiting for a place and time to go off on someone else - maybe you.
