Sidi is best. I bought a pair used from a woman who only rode a few times on back and never really used them. They were practically brand new when I looked at them - and half the price.

But - Ween has a pair of Icon boots, and when he wrecked his feet and ankles were just fine. His boots have held up remarkably well, even after his accident.

If cost is a consideration, then get what you can afford - something is better than nothing. If cost doesn't matter, then buy a pair of Sidi's.

Seems to me when comparing the other boots you show to the Sidi's it's like comparing a Mustang or Camero to a Bugatti. As the saying goes "You get what you pay for". If you can afford the Sidi they are worth the extra cash.

Ya icon isn't junk. Its the same as Gixxer riders talking trash on kawis or yammies. However, buying an icon boot and expecting it to perform like a Sidi is like buying a naked bike and expecting it to perform like a supersport. You get what you pay for.
