There are places in town that can alter it for you.
Get one as close to your size as you can and have it custom fitted. It will fit better than off the rack and be safer too.

I guess for a first suit it's not bad. I don't care for frank thomas stuff myself.

From experience, i have foun that Frank Thomas suits suck. The single stitching they use rips apart and the suits fall apart fast.

I let a friend borrow my old one and he went down on turn 10 at TWS (Texas World Speedway). Not even a bad crash at all, the suit fell apart. He was road rashed.

I would rather buy a used Alpine Stars one, they crash far better. Mine was off a AMA superbike rider. He went down at Mid Ohio during a race going fast and had minor damage, I then tucked it on turn 9 at TWS (Texas World Speedway) going pretty fast and even after those 2 crashes, the damage is negligible.

The Frank Thomas suit couldnt even fare on a minor get off. Another guy at the track that was pitted next to me went down on turn 4 ,I think, with a FT suit, tore it to and a friend went down in MSHR with a FT suit and it fell apart, too. Wasnt even going that fast.

Beware of those suits, I have one hanging in the garage collecting dust. I wont even sell it cheap or give it away cause I dont want to be responsible for someone getting hurt in it.
