Emotions and reactions to situations are one of the few things that we can truly control. If I let her get me angry and retaliate against her actions, who is really in control at that point? I must admit I am actually glad it happened, it helped put somethings into respective. I realized that I let things smaller then this anger me for a whole day and even let them ruin my day. i am going to try to apply this mentality to the smaller day to day things. That person thinks they ruined my day, little do they know they actually made it better.

whats wrong with ten over on the weekends?? Some people have to work and have places to be. If your not passing you have no business in the left lane anyway. If you want to drive 55 stay on the feeder. As for th OP good choice motorcycles always lose in the game of bumper cars.

Someone spits on me... guaranteed revenge.

License plate > address > slashed tires with a sticky note of a motorcycle on it.

Anyone that will spit on another human being is a cowardly lowlife. Unless of course you are tied up and being beaten by someone. Then spitting on the person that is beating you makes you a bad .

But I would think about all the other alternatives PPs have described, too. I would know I should refrain, but I wouldn't want to.

And yeah, I have thought about calling the "report unsafe driving" number but haven't ever bothered unless the vehicle had its own number, and its driver did something obviously intentional and really dangerous (as opposed to just stupid/oblivious/harrassing). I wonder if the cops -ever- get calls about that and if they do, what happens. Sigh.

Mirrors are made to fold back but not forwards. just saying.
few years back i had a beotch in traffic alongside me just push me out of the lane. we are doing about 25 mph and she is right along side of her with her window down, i am yelling at her cus not i am between her and the car next to me. she just brushes me off with her hand.
I wrote down her license plate # and low and behold the car is registered to a person of similar age. I sent HER a "thinking of you" card in the mail that said she should be carefull when you try to hurt someone on the freeway cus they might just be able to find out where they live.
Figured i would give her something to think about.

All I'm gonna say bout that....

Let's just say, I don't play like that when I'm riding on the streets....

I do the responsible thing and just keep it slow to make more distance between me and the car in front of me until the traffic thins out some so I can loser her. She starts to honk at me and get even closer to my tire (I did not think it was possible but she found a way.) She then decides to lane split in her SUV pushing me almost into a bridge railing. All of her evasive maneuvering put her so far ahead of me that we end up next to each other at the next stop light. She rolls down her window and starts to yell at me, I yelled back telling her to learn to drive (childish I know). She then spits in my direction, luckily very little if any landed on me.

I got super for obvious reasons, but I decided to not try to retaliate in anyway. Instead I pulled over into the carwash and cooled down before heading back home to get something to eat.

I am not really mad anymore, my only hope is that she realizes that she behaved like a animal and does not act that way towards anyone else. I doubt that will happen, but I can always hope.
I would have spit right back at her. What a !

EDIT: She put your life in danger, given the chance I would have most likely slapped her (pun intended) after I spit on her and she got out of the car. She deserves to go to jail right after having her whipped like a man.

You're better than me.. I think I may have landed myself in jail if she spit on me. I would have on her, but only after busting as much as I could off her truck!.. We all should learn from you... I think at that very moment of her spitting, my bike would have been on the kickstand and me in her face in the worse of ways!

Congratulations on handling the situation the right way. I'm not sure I would have been able to hold my temper as well as you did, and likely would have made the situation far worse as a result. It's a shame you didn't get a plate number, but I still think you did the right thing and looked out for your own safety.

I hope that 's kids get addicted to drugs.
