OK, so is anyone actually making it out to pp1 tomorrow, or is everyone staying north side?

that is what I want to know

I don't see a point in people from the northside riding down to PP1 only to ride back to the northside to hand out candy canes.

I also would like to know how many people are coming.

I sent an PM to Fuelslut and haven't heard back.

Looks like this will be the first year I am completely out :(

My last trackday, the rear Ohlins got busted up (preload clicker bolts got loose, fell off, and the clicker got sheared off by the rear wheel), and I haven't had the chance to swap it out with the stock suspension.

been very busy... Yes indeed the thread died. I'm good to go though. Always a blast dressing as santa. Even in the blistering heat of summer on some forest rides.

The Pearland Oilers has rendered me employeeless for tomorrow. Alas, I must work in the morrow and cannot partake in this festive event. Have fun, ya'll!

Btw, is it ya'll or y'all? I prefer ya'll. Whatever, it's not important.

It was fun but it was not epic like the 2008 ride (I missed the 09 ride so I can't comment on that).

I didn't even hand out all the candy canes I brought (kindly donated by Squoddy). There seemed to be far fewer kids out and about.

We need to do some more of these rides.

An anti-Valentines day ride in Feb.
A Leprechaun ride in March followed by an Irish pub crawl for St. Patrick's day?
...

Remember the pub crawl from this last year? lol...

Only 1 person rode their bike, we gave ourselves 14 stops in the Woodlands and knocked out 8 stops from the list, then ended up only hitting 8 stops in 8 hours.

But it was fun!

As for Valentines, there's a few dedicated single peeps like me that go out and mess w the daters

It was fun, but like the Guru said, didn't seem like there were many kids out and about. I had a whole load of candy canes left in my backpack when I got home. The weird part is, even though the parking lots seemed largely inactive, the highways were packed full.

Riding around in the santa suit was fun though. On the way home I wound up posing for a few cars that I noticed were trying to snap pics.

I'll still do it again next year.

Maybe our timing is off.

At many of the stores you'd have to imagine the parents are there to shop FOR the kids... maybe earlier in the month or we simply make it a constant "11am PP1 Sunday" event for all of December; that way more people have a chance to make the event at least once.
