Oh.. I'm suppose to put my feet down when I stoooooooooooooooo.. .{crash} Ouch.

Well I guess that'll explain why I keep doing that..

Seriously depends if I put both down. I'll pick both up.. Sometime pick up only one at a time.. Sometimes I'll do something to pick at my friend riding, like act like I'm running because she's taking off slow in the middle of busy traffic. (It usually makes her laugh and loosen up)

My right foot almost never comes off the peg. When I stop, I leave the bike in first so I can dart out of the way if necessary, clutch in, left foot down, and watch my mirrors. Only if it is a long light and there are cars already stopped behind my do I slip it into neutral, put both feet down, and take my hands of the bars.

If both feet are down, the bike is almost always in neutral, so left foot comes up first to kick it into gear. If for some reason it's in gear and both feet are down, then they both come up together.

I don;t have to worry about reaching the ground with just one foot or the other. I'm 6'6".

I'll creep up on a light or traffic as slow as possible so I don't have to put my feet down at all. I'll go back and forth in the entire lane to keep my balance so i don't have to stop.

Go You! It's good to not pay attention to which foot you pick up in my opinion, leaves you open to a more freestyle approach to takoff (unless you unknowingly take off from the same position

Left foot. When you are stopped you can use the right to keep the rear brake on. That way cars can see the break lights plus if your on a hill you can still sit up right. I always pick up the left.
