Which foot do you pick up first

I have been riding a lot these past few weeks by necessity. Commuting between the Woodlands and CS gives me lots of time to think about stuff.

Question: When leaving a stop light/ sign, etc. Which foot do you pick up first? or both at the same time?

I noticed that I usually pick up the left foot just slightly before the right.

I pick 'em up both at the same time. But I put the left one down first. If it's a short stop, I'll only put the left foot down.

So yeah, both...

I am short, so I just let the left foot hold the bike up and the right sit on the brake.

Left is my security side. First foot down at a light, last foot up after taking off.

I guess since the kickstand is on the left, leaning the bike to the right is counter intuitive for me.

I actually do all of the above. Sometimes I have just my left foot down with the right foot on the brake but other times I have my right foot down with my left on the shifter, sometimes I have both feet down and sometimes I stand while waiting for a light with my arms folded looking like my bike is an extension of my manhood

But to answer the question, I pick them up with the same amount of unbiased scrutiny.

When stopping I put my right foot own and left foot on the shifter. At long stops, I put both feet down and hands on the tank.

When taking off, I usually lift up both feet in 2 stages...1st stage with front of my feet resting on the pegs and then the 2nd stage with my feet properly positioned on the peg. In traffic, I keep my feet in 1st stage position in case I need to drop my feet at a stop (I try to clutch/brake/space myself where I don't have to come to a complete stop while in traffic)
