730 miles round trip, HOLY

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. My brother is getting married tomorrow in Stephenville, the trip will be 315 miles one way. I'm going on the bike cause I don't trust truck. Got up at 5 this morning for work, almost done with my 12 hour shift, and take off is at 6. Wedding tomorrow, afterwards I have to leave immediately for home, so I can be back to work at 6am Sunday morning. I'd say this is going to be interesting to say the least.

Sounds dangerous riding that long on no rest. Stop often and be safe out there.

I can save you 100 miles: 315 + 315 = 630.

Good luck!

Are you serious? 650 miles in 2 days? That's an easy ride...

Not making light of it Grimace, but don't think so much about the distance. If you just enjoy the ride you'll find its over much faster than you imagined...

I don't know your bike's range but don't try to go tank-to-tank if this is the first time you've ridden anything like this kind of distance. Stop every 75-100 miles at most - even just to walk around on the shoulder for a bit. You'll ultimately get there in much better shape. If you start yawning - drink water or Gatorade before you even think about caffeine.

it aint funny to me cause I must be braindead already. I calculate load volumes for trucks. Been doing it for about 3 years and up a grand total of 3 times (so far). I'm pretty good at math (12 hours of work = ave of 20 trucks)(ave of 46 hours per week).

I'm only 32, and don't know what an old man feels like, but my guess is that is exactly how I feel, except he spent his whole life drinking, fighting, and got very little sleep Still I'm not complaining, I'm very grateful that I didn't get in an accident or get a ticket.
