License Plate Wire?

heres my question, when i bought my bike, it had no plate light, but theres a connector/ pigtail under the passenger seat, is this it? heres some pics,
i wanna know what it is and where should i tap into for the plate light?

im no gsxr rider but that looks like it . check with a volt meter for consistency and for + - and your set
