I think on your bike theres only one way to put it in. Did all the copper wires on the stator look ok? Best way to test it is with a multimeter.

try charging the battery and test the stator with a multimeter on ac voltage, if its like mine you can check the voltage regulator ac one side and dcv coming out to the battery, and power at the battery see if its reading about 13v wich means it charging but before you check the stator you have to charge the battery. as for the clutch bleed it if its hydraulic and check the fluid level, for cable check the cable and the linkage for damage then go from there. also check your fluids for metal shavings, and oil levels. is there any noise coming from the clutch.

Another reason why I never use the switch to turn my bike off. I always use the key. GL

How old is the battery, if its older then 2 years its probably time to replace it. I highly doubt the STATOR is bad unless you didnt install it correctly. You need to check the free play on your clutch lever, needs to be about 5-10 mm of slack or free play from the all the way out position. Adjusting a clutch cable is a , and depending on mileage and how you ride you may have burned up the plates.
