tail swap for 3rd gen vfr

im looking at swapping the tail of my vfr750 with something else.
i like big boxy tails like on the old cbr's and gsxr's.
i am planning on swapping subframes and seats. my goal in the end is to have something that looks good and has lockable pillion storage.
if you, yes you with the older sportbike, could measure the distances between the mounts of your subframe vertically and horizontally, that would be a big help to me so that i can find something that will fit or could be adapter easily enough.
