My First Wheelie!

Popped 2 lastnight. First one accidental taking off from light, sped up let go of throttle for a second. When I hit it again, I guess I gave it too much and it picked up the front wheel for a moment. IT.WAS.AWESOME!

I felt so excited and wanted to make sure it wasnt just a one time trick for me. When I got closer to home, on an empty back street... I did it again but this time the wheel came up pretty high and held it for a good time(by a good time I mean like maybe 10ft or so, I could be exagerating )...It's freaking Scary as !...but I loved watching the light go from reflecting on the road to facing up. Prob will wait for a while and try it again

Thanks for reading...

P.S. If you say pics or it didn't happen...would you accept witnesses???

The thing about those first wheelies is they feel like you're a MILE off the ground but in actuality...it's a few inches. LOL.

Congrats.

practice make perfect, but beware they are more addictive then CRACK, and can be more expensive and destructive.

Thanks man, it was!...I had to call my friend that I was riding with when I popped the accidental one. I had to make sure they saw it, and he said it looked smooth, but he could tell i did it on accident...Cuz I'm not the stunting type.......Yet lol

Its a painful hobby. Don't get wreckless. Most of all don't let your unit strike another unit and cause damage to your unit.

The second one felt like I went a lil high (I almost pooped a lil)...but yeah, I made sure when I did it on purpose, the road was clear.... The first one, well, I didn't even know it was gonna happen, it just did.

I'm no longer a big wheelie guy. When I first learned my Triumph would do them I would be Mr. PowerWheelie from every light and then I learnd to clutch them up a little higher. It faded quickly when I did a decent wheelie on Westheimer and had a car cut me off and lock them up while the front tire was in the air. Managed to not wreck but no more playing with wheelies for me. If the front airs out a little on the track or on some back roads somewhere when I get on the gas it doesn't bother me but I'll never have the stones for free-way wheelies.

I realized when I started doing 3rd gear 80mph wheelies on the passenger pegs down 249 that I should probably calm down, went to the lot from there
