It rains, it stops, life goes on, and I dont have to worry about watering the plants on my patio until the heat of summer is over. Gotta love those afternoon showers!

Rain gear should never leave the bike if at all possible. I've had to wade through a foot of water on the bike, but with the rainsuit on it wasn't bad at all.



(then again, my bike was made for that kinda stuff)

It's not the rain, it's just all the cleaning you have to do afterwards. :eh:

Cleaning? What is this cleaning you speak of?

The last time I wasked my bike was Sept '05, and that's only because we all washed them that day so I went along with it.

Bugs eventually dry and crust off. Mud gets wet the next time it rains and slings off onto the guy behind you. The chain is cleaned and lubed regularly, so dirt has no effect. If my bike sits for more than a few days at home, it collects dust and pollen, so I wait until it rains and take it for a spin!
