This is what I don't get. Just because there's a seat readily accessible doesn't mean your is supposed to plant it there. like that makes me want to carry a collapsible baton...

I used to live in that area, right there off of 10 and 6... Wednesdays is when all the ricers hit katy for the "meets." It's always some guy in a 90's model accord with the bondo door handle/lock delete, the GTR wing, 11ty inch fart can, and unpainted (or painted a color different than the rest of the car) body kit that's been smashed on all four corners.

That's a battle you can't win, because if you do happen to give in, and blow his doors off, when you eventually slow down, he'll blow by you at a top speed of 95mph with his hazards on, and forbid you have to actually stop at a light next to this tard after, he'll still talk about how he beat you after you slowed down.

I've really wanted to make it out but work has gotten in the way. If it's going down next week I'll come.

this isnt necessarily a motorcyclist pet peeve, but a general motorist pet peeve:

people...PLEASE, for the love of , use your TURN SIGNALS!! nothing gets my blood boiling more than seeing some dipshit that is so lazy, or STUPID, that they cant hit that big switch that is oh-so-conveniently placed right next to the STEERING WHEEL. do you honestly think youre gonna just nonchalantly come into MY lane without so much as a hint of "hey dude, can i get over there?"? really?!! you. its mine. i was here first. and no, i do not slow down. you want my lane? youre gonna work for it.

funny thing is, i bet i just called out more than half you people.

Tell me about it. I near use my signals more than 99.9% of the time. It's just a good driving technique/skill/method. Just treat others the you want to be treated.

while we're on the subject of turn signals, what the is up with people waiting to signal until they're mid lane change, or .03 sec before whipping into another lane?

ive honestly believed, ever since i was old enough to drive, that the driving test should be much harder than it is. its a privelege, not a right, and there are a lot of idiots that dont deserve that privelege. take the bus.

LOL, just last night a white mercedes coupe got in front of me (while on my bike) on the ramp from i-10 to 610 southbound. i high beam the driver about 6 times and they turn on their turn signal after they were in the lane. I'm like, "what difference does it make now? Is that an apology for nearly killing me while i'm in a corner?" yeeesh

Slow and or unyeilding people in the left lane. Biggest pet peave of all. I tend to pass them with about 3 inches to spare...back, side, then front. Seriously, if we were walking and I was 3 inches behind you for 1/4 mile, you'd probably step to the side. Why can't you do the same in your car when there is a law that requires you move right when being overtaken? I hate cockblockers...
