Question for Any Phone Pros?

Ok, I need some help desperately for some trouble Ive been having with my phone. I bought an unlocked Motorola A630, which was intended for T-mobile customers only. I had to flash the phone and seem edit it to allow me to enable the quad band and what not. I also edited the web sessions so that I could get the browser working. The only problem I cam across was the AIM client on the phone. Im assuming its built into the firmware as T-mobile and cant be altered. Does anyone know of a 3rd party AIM client that can be put on a regular phone (non-pda/non-smart phone). I know of clients like AGILE messenger or whatever, but those only work on PDA phones right?
