Kill times can vary by displacement, number of cylinders etc.
55-60 for a big v twin is good.

You don't need the flasher. When in the PC menu click on the Power Commander Tools and the option is in there.

I see. Are you using a Dynojet quickshifter? If so, how are they interfacing it?

Mine is set low. I think 45-50 . I kept lowering till it was too short then bumped it back up. Mine is also has an air shifter. When I hit the button the ram pulls the lever and the QS does the kill. On the street I use my foot and on the track I use a button.

no its not a dynojet its from boost as well

it plugs in line with the gear position sencer and that is it , computer does the rest !

http://www.boostbysmith.com/quick.html

this is what he sells now mine is diff ,

any how depending on what you want you can get it wired for push or pull , reg or gp shift

and mine has sensitivity switch , found that out at the mile

any how its nice just need 200 bones and i can buy the flasher and make any simple ajustments my self !

When racing you want the kill as short as possible.

Does it add any slop to the shifter, or is the action on the switch relatively small?

Well, I've had one in my shop all season and didn't mount it... does that count?

I like 'em, and I think they're cool. I think they make racing a whole lot more manageable.

I also think there are better things to spend your money on though, especially if you're only doing track days.

And no, it doesn't add any "slop" to the shifter.
