people down the UN but.........

just watched hotel Rwanda and got to looking a little more into the u.n. and such and i can tell you this, it seems to me the republicans that constantly down the u.n. and every chance they can seem to do so because they are not doing what's in Americas interest.

at least in 1994 the u.n. was actually there moving people out of the region. the good things they do seem to not matter it's only when they don't want to go along with what we want then it's more or less **** them.

anyway anyone who hasn't seen this movie should see it and get a little better perspective on the u.n. if you've had a negative one. I also have to give thanks to the red cross for being in the middle of conflicts and putting themselves in harms way to help people. ANY PEOPLE regardless of their races or political status. Also those of the catholic faith in the region helping and having orphanages to help kids who have no parents because of violence and other reasons.

Movie moved me to tears. Kind of a grounding moment. Def made me digress from some of my opinions.

I don't know. Change the things that you can and accept the things you can't.

.... and take off your big hat in church!

I watched it a while back, can't remember much of it, only that I thought it was good. As far as wishing you could do something, anyone can. Whether it be from donating whatever extra cash you have to certain causes, or going to the extreme and become some sort of crusader. Adopt a kid lol. But in all seriousness, anyone can help a little, but I guess the question really is, how bad you wanna help? ya know

I saw it... good flick, a bit depressing. Don Cheatle did a great job... sad that it's based on a true story.
