Please read some basic common sense rules for this ride:

A. keep at least 2 bike lengths distance between bikes at all times.
B. pay attention to the road and the bikes in front of you.
C. ride in staggered formation on straights.
D. No wheelies or passing in the same lane as other riders (use another lane to wheelie/pass).
E. When passing cars, don't slow down after the pass, leave room for the riders that may be passing with you.
F. do not ride out of your comfort zone!
G. keep a constant speed, do not accelerate to pass on the straights and then park it on the turns, its all about being smooth!
H. lets be salf and have fun

*Please make sure your bike is running in good condition!

sorry guys, haven't been on mh for a while due to my work, the market has gone up a lot for the past 3 months and i couldn't keep up with the demand so i decided to open another processing plant in mexico in order to satisfy the consumption needs of my buyers in China. it has been a very time consuming task trying to adjust the machinery and training new employees asap in an effort to raise production in the last 2 months of the fourth quater.

Haven't sat on my bike for more than 6 weeks now and with this weather it looks like it's going to be a while before i can ride my bike again.....

What's so close to 59 and 99 that brings you back in less than two hours and has good twisties? Crabb River aint that great, and Racer's Road is almost worth at least a two hour ride by attaching it to other twisties. PM me details and I'll be interested.

lol.... i am a commodities trader and one of my lines are plastics commodities which i get from mexico and ship them to our materials recovery facilities in China to process and turn into raw materials again so that they can be used again but at a cheaper cost/lb than by using virgen materials from GE, BASF, EXXON, etc.

well maybe you can answer a question of mine...i run a plumbing and have scrap pvc piping by the load. what to do with it? some tell me to recycle, others say pvc cant be recycled, at least back into pipe. You know of anyone in the houston area who would use or want it?

I am very familiar with pvc, one of the richest guys in the world has made billions manufacturing and selling virgen pvc in taiwan (Formosa Plastics' Y.C. Wan).

First, you need to determine if the scrap pvc still have the chemical properties or not, if they were left outside for a long time, most likely it's not worth recycling at all.

Second, when it comes to pricing, clear or natural color being the best and dark colors the worst, this has a direct relation to the market that you are trying to position the scrap materials in. unfortunately, Houston is not the right market for pvc piping scrap due to labor cost and market demand. On the other hand, Mexico is one of the best markets for pvc scrap and most buyers pay in cash right away. There are many shoe manufacturers in Mexico that uses the pvc scrap and turn it into the soles of the shoes they make so demand is a lot higher than Houston and for this type of applications, color is not a factor!

Third thing to consider is "packaging", since they are scraps and need to be transported to the buyer, cost is a big factor! More than likely, the buyers are looking for this material either in 600kg bales or regrind in supersacks of 500kgs to be more cost effective!

If your business generates more than 100 tons of scrap pvc per year then i would suggest to seriously look into investing in some machinery and operate as a separate business for yourself or for the company you are working for and sell the scraps to Mexico on a long term basis.

Not doing near 100 tons. Maybe 8-9 a year. Thanks for the info. And yes it does get stacked in open weather/sunlight.....worthless. I could start storing it indoors but with space as tight as it is already, and the low volume of scrap, i cant justify it. I thought about buying a shipping container, but if houstons not the market anyway, i would just assume give the stuff away. Im busy enough with this company and really dont want to get into the headache of international buisness. thanks
