Choices decide your Fate and who makes them!!

NO i am not a fatalist either.

Who made the choice last night to drink and drive? who also made the choice to ride in front of that guy that made the other choice, or who chose to take that turn on RR at 114 instead of 80 and didnt see the truck and trailer that had decided to leave early and was also on RR.

Point is !! you decide your fate weather you know it or not but there is also other peoples choices that can decide it as well.

Just try and make the least amount of stupid choices and you will have better odds.

FEEL FREE TO FLAME this!!!

I was board and i had a vasectomy today so i cant ride for the next week .....

What a CHOICE!!!

Don't be fatalistic, be paranoid. Every car, truck, driver, passenger, pedestrian and dog is out to kill you. If you can enjoy riding while being totally paranoid, go for it.

Riding significantly increases the risk that you might be maimed or killed, but there are many factors that you have at your control which can significantly increase or decrease the chances that it will happen to you. Education, experience, when, where, how, with whom and with what gear you ride all can have a huge influence on the risk you incur when riding. Manage the risk, don't ignore risk and attribute the outcome fate.
listen to this man. I aspire to be half as wise as him before I'm dead.

Perhaps, but I'd rather be very old when it happens as opposed to very young.

As a Christian, I believe in Free Will, which is incompatible with Fatalism.

Bottom line is though, you can not disprove fatalism or pre-determinism; therefore arguing for either side will not get you anywhere.

Absolutely. Nobody dies in cars, so definitely get one before it's too late.

I'm starting to think we should preach for people to wear helmets even when they're not on a bike.

I'm on the opposite side of that coin, less helmets period. for some. I'm starting to like less and less people, primarily the ignorant ones. we're covered up in that .
