Wish I wasn't working. Used to love going there. I wish they didn't change tokens though...I have like 7 of the old wooden tokens that aren't being used anymore.

Ah, well the way it works, they only have a "taster's license" or something like that, so they're they're only allowed by state law to give you so many samples. When you pay your admission, they give you a 9 oz glass and 4 tokens. You trade a token, they fill your 9 oz glass.

BUT, if you have official St. Arnold's glassware (which you can buy during the tour), like a St. A's pint glass (~$6) or a mug (~$11), they will "estimate" the 9 oz line on your glass...which usually means pretty much a full pint or mug of beer.

Now, if you had a DD or just simply didn't use all of your tokens, you could save them up til the next time you went and cash in for a load of beer. But they recently changed the tokens they use, so the ones I had from the old brewery are no good anymore :(

A couple of my friends and I used to go pretty regularly. Actually been a while though.

That's how they run it on the Saturday tastings at least. Never been on a weekday tour, but I'd imagine it would be about the same thing.

They haven't been filling pint glasses up to the top lately on the normal tours, but you can drink all you want in the investor pub in the back for $5 ($12 for guests). I shut it down (PM) this past Tuesday.
