college, anyone?

Who here is heading to college? I am heading up to Huntsville next week. Any of you guys taking your bike. I can only bring one vehicle, so my baby is coming with me. I have been trying to do lots of riding for the past few weeks, but a lot of stuff has come up (so sorry if I never showed). I slept in yesterday and missed the forest run.... :BangHead: Man im about that. So if anything is going on please pm. Just wanted to see who else is moving out of H-town for college and maybe a good bye college ride or somethin.

No reason to pay an Ungodly price for core classes.
Plus these courses will transfer to a 4yr school.

SHSU i presume? i have a dedicated strong passion of hate for that school cuz my worst exgf goes there... stupid reason to hate it i know, but o well. Yeah i actually have both my bike and car up where i'm at. We have a pretty good parking lot. There's about six bikes at the section i live and so there's two dedicated spots for bikes and my car is next to it to prevent some a-hole from knocking over any of our bikes.

Heading up to Tulsa in 2 weeks for my last semester of school at Northeaster State University. I spent the last year at SHSU, but they decided that they wouldn't accept my A.A. degree from Tulsa Community College. I had to choose between 2 more years of school in Texas or 1 semester in Oklahoma. It wasn't a very hard decision when it came down to it.

I should go back to school, but there isn't much incentive. They dont teach real-world stuff anymore, so I'm better off with on-the-job training unless I plan on being a Dr, Lawyer, Engineer, etc.

Besides, I'm an old lady already. I might be the one in the front actually taking notes!

Are you going to be living in the dorms at SHSU? If so, I'd suggest leaving the bike at home with the folks and taking your car. That campus is small and you probably won't need it, and leaving it parked near the dorm is just an open invite for some dumbass to knock it over or sit on it. Now, if you were at a larger campus where parking sucks, and you'd be using it everyday to get accross campus, then I could see taking it.
