Nothing. Honda checked up a little and they both kept going. Flat track - it's a contact sport!

Come out next time - December 12. (That said, Max did say he might have date changes due to shift changes at his job. Stay tuned.)

I was really digging the speedway bike, looked like a WILD ride.
496cc single, total loss oiling system, METHANOL powered and NO BRAKES!!!!
The methanol and castor oil combo smells like heaven on earth!!!

I randomly talked to 1/2 the people at the track, seems like a good group of guys to race with. Some cool bikes on hand too.

^

The speedway guy didn't have a class and was just doing some exhibition / testing and tuning / fooling around. The track was too hard packed for him to really show his wares, but he nonetheless was impressive as . Typical speedway madman. He told me, "It's hooking up good coming out of 2 - too good, really. Three inch wheelies are the shxt, but 3 foot wheelies make me shxt."

I saw several guys in typical "trackday" gear. . .leathers, boots, etc.

More pix.

And you can use these and the other visuals to get a general understanding of the gear needed. IMO, while standard MX stuff works fine, leathers are better. This is hard pack, brother!

It's funny that in the 4th pic of post #41 he is getting done to him, what he is doing to you in that last pic.
