Houston Area Gear

I'm looking to get some new gear, mainly a leather riding jacket. The problem I'm having is a lot of places have very limited selection (CycleShack, CycleGear, Houston Yamaha) of jackets in stock. I'm not opposed to ordering online but I'd like to be able to try a few on first for sizing and fit. Is there a good place around town that has a decent selection of leather sportbike jackets? Thanks,

Honda of Houston keeps a decent stock of gear. It's about the largest I have seen around here.

I'd go with 2 Wheel Toyz. Its about a 30-45 minute drive from Spring, but i'll make that drive. They have quite a selection of gear. If you dont see anything there, they can tell you of two or three other shops within 10 minutes that you may find something at.

I've got about 30-40 jackets in stock, from mesh to leather and if we don't have what you want we can get it typically in a day or so and we guarantee fit.

theres also some great sizing charts on most websites that carry good brands. just get a flat tape a measure yourself and consult the chart.

Yeah, we had some 2 story dealerships in FL that carried insane amounts of gear, and at least 2 of every model the brand made. The Yami dealer was HUGE.

Patrick will measure you up and find the jacket that is right for you. Trust me, I spent an hour their getting sized an having Brandon and another guy look at ALL the catalogs for a red/back leather jacket I liked.

Thanks for all the heads up. I def. trust Patrick and the Motorcycles Unlimited guys, just sometimes hard with different "model" jackets and what they look like on paper compared to in person. I may check out the 2 wheel toys place as well. Otherwise....Motoliberty in dallas I've heard is pretty large. And the Twin Peaks are nice up there. Thanks guys

Should have went to the rally with some extra scratch. I picked up a nice 4 in 1 jacket for $100. It covers everything from winter to dead of heat summer.
