Ebay Question

Anybody ever buy a bike off Ebay? I found a bike off Ebay that I am thinking about, but not sure. Anyone ever buy a bike from out of state on Ebay, if so what should I look for! I want to get as much info before I bid.

Thanks

I have bought 2 bikes off of e-bay out of state, and a truck, local but i went and picked up all in person and told the guy when i won the action that i would get it in person and if the bike was not as advertised the deal was off. One was in birmingham alabama and other was north of littlerock arkansas. Truck local.
Yeah money on gas and time but would rather do that then lose money on a bike i didn't bargain for.

there are several BIG bikes sites like sportbike.net. could ASK someone close to look at it also.

again my 02

I bought a bike off of ebay from a guy in north houston, good deal.

It all comes down to the person selling, look at their number of sales and rating, if they have 98%+ approval and more than a few total auctions sold I'd say it's a safe bet

i bought my bike off ebay. it was a badass deal, guy lived by barker cypress. low miles mint condition. check if the person has a good feedback. call the person and ask about everything about the bike. pics of the bike. check if it is a clear title. and shipping a bike is expensive on the distance, rent a trailer and pick it up. and ride it before u buy it
