LSR Expired tag warning

I hear on the scanner that they are visually scanning the bikes on the strand for expired tags. Just a head up for those who are riding kinda dirty.

Also, as a resident of the area, I would strongly suggest slowing down between Galveston and Dickinson. There are state troopers everywhere and yes, they hide with no radar on so you won't know til it's too late.

Yes there are scanning every SPORTS bike that pass. I sat there at the end of strand today and observed them only checking SPORTS bikes. Seriously sad. If you have a chopper or Harley your good even if your not legal. I'm legal so no worries.

This is why I don't do biker rallies. "lookie meeeeee!!! I'm posin'!!". Same reason I dont do fairs, festivals and rodeos. Too many drunk dumb in one concentrated area. No thank you.

There was a lot of posing and revving tonight lol but on the bright side, there were some really clean bikes too. I got to see the fat tired busa posted on MH/Youtube which was pretty neat. The custom bikes were outrageous...ohhh and I got flashed tonight

Boobies or Sirens?
...and if you don't post pics it never happened!

P.S. With the size of the crowds and number of drunks at TLSR it is amazing that everyone gets along so well. I can appreciate the craftsmanship that goes in to any bike of any style. Though I don't want to ride/own some of those styles. It seems most down there are of the same mindset.

I'm glad they weren't doing the cruisers. Because come to think about it, I might be out....I'll have to check tonight. They may of expired Sept/Oct....or maybe this month.

cops were busy all over the place saw a guy and his girl on a 4 wheeler with spinners get pulled over (not street legal maybe?) they took him around the corner and hauled him off to jail im guessing he had warrants or something. Also 2 sport bikes got pulled to the side of the strand and issued tickets for reving even though every cruiser was doing it.

Well, from what I seen on the very end of strand was 4 cops shooting the just waiting on sports bikes to pass to check out the inspection stickers. They wasn't reving or doing anything to get attention. Just cruising by making the left or right turn. They just feel like more sport bike riders are most likely illegal.
