I think I am ready to start riding again...

Hey MH, as some of you already know, my boyfriend got killed in a moto accident a couple of weeks ago. We would ride together and it was the best bond ever. I hadn't got on my bike since not because I was scared, but because it reminded me of him. Just getting out of my depression and I know he would have gotten if he knew I stopped riding, we were going to go to the Lonestar Rally together. So I decided that I am gonna honor his life and ride for Joseph, and since he was in the military head out to the rally tomorrow. Question though, would it be wrong for me to ride out there tomorrow? Is it too soon? I just need some support from you guys. And if you see me there just make me feel better and say hi to me ...that is all, thanks MH.

Honor his memory and keep riding. Just use it as a reminder to be safe and alert when you ride. Best wishes. I will pray that comforts you with peace.

Miss absolutely no one can tell you when you're ready or should be ready! Only you can know and you probably won't know until you get on the bike and head out. If you get on it and just decide you can't do it then turn around and go home and wait a while.

May bless you!

Get back on the horse. I would hope that my friends would ride in memory of me instead of stay off bikes in memory of me. Remember all the good times we had on two wheels, doing the things that we loved most...riding and being free.

Only time can heal your wounds. If you feel comfortable riding, then you should ride - but only because it's what you want to do and what you love to do.

If you do decide to ride, get w a group that will ride with you for protection. A rally can be a very confusing place to so take that into consideration as well.

Best of luck to you.

If you feel like it is time, get back on and ride. If you go a block and realize it isn't yet time, pack it in for a bit. You'll know much better than us when that time is.
